A design for a client in Staveley, removing the large expanses of lawn in favour of low maintenance planting beds of focal trees, shrubs and perennials to provide long term seasonal interest. Two proposed seating paved spaces at the back and side of the property with amazing views of the surrounding countryside. Planting inspired by Adrian Bloom’s ‘Take 12 Principle’ which reduces the focus down to twelve plants used to create drama and interest throughout the seasons in a variety of different planting combinations.
