A planting design outside of Skelwith Bridge with amazing views of the Langdales. The aim for this design was to connect and be insipred by local landscape transformating an existing un-managable sloped lawn into a large planting bed with swathes of perennials, grasses, ferns, alpines and bulbs with a colour palette sampling shades of green, pink and white. The use of large rocks to stabalise the ground and act as anchor points for multi-stemmed Amelanchier trees to be planted atop with alpines and creeping groundcover to be planted in pockets.
