A design for a client in a new build situated in Cockermouth which lacked character with concrete paving slabs and an impractical sloped lawn. The site has been terraced using corten steel panels to create retention walls with low maintenance planting through a gravel mulch which contrasts the orange hue of the corten steel. An elevated curved patio nestled in the top corner to act as a view point overlooking the garen. Focal trees including Malus, Amelanchier and Betula adds height and structure to the garden
