The brief for this garden was a complete renovation, with new rendered retention walls to deal with the challenging level changes on site. The formal planting scheme using topiary box hedges and upright Italian cypress to create a strong structure within the space with repeated perennials and grasses to provide seasonal interest. Herb planting in close proximity to the sunken seating area at close hand for BBQ’s in the summer.
